Description:

1. In a suction pump, a main body adapted to be removably applied to a receptacle in sealed relationship therewith, a passage in said body having at one end a suction port and adapted at the other to communicate with the inside of said receptacle, a second passage in said body, spaced from said first passage, having at one end an intake port and adapted at the other end to communicate with the inside of said receptacle, a float valve in said first passage operable to close said first passage, and a suction-controlled valve in said first passage operable to open the atmosphere to said suction port when said float valve operates to close said first passage.

2. In a pump as set forth in claim 1, a one-way valve in said body operable to open the atmosphere to said second-mentioned passage.
