Inventor: Guthrie, Paul James

Location: Longview

Comments: N/A

Description: Having regard to the foregoing disclosure, the Patent of which this specification forms part confers, subject to the conditions prescribed in the Patent Act, 1935, the exclusive right, privilege and liberty of making, constructing, using and vending to others to be used, the invention as defined in claims submitted by the patentee as follows:-

1. In an auxiliary gas vaporizing device of the type described for use with internal combustion engines, a container case enclosing a plurality of longitudinal gas mixing fins for further atomization of the component parts of combustible gases from a carburetor, a series of chambers within said case containing said fins, a spacing passageway or spacing passageways connecting said chambers together, a dividing partition or dividing partitions within said case separating said chambers, intake connections from a carburetor entering at one end of the series of said chambers, and an outlet at the opposite end of the series of said chambers for distributing the mixed gases in a finer state to the engine manifold.
2. In an auxiliary gas vaporizing device of the type described for use with internal combustion engines, a containing case enclosing longitudinally disposed gas mixing fins, longitudinally aligned chambers within said case containing said fins for conduction of gases from a carburetor for mixing purposes, partitions dividing said case into said chambers, an intake at one end of said chambers, an outlet at the opposite end of said chambers for distributing the resultant further atomized gases to the engine intake manifold, longitudinal water jackets partly surrounding said case for heating the flowing gases, a plurality of tubes laterally connecting said water jackets and passing through said chambers, partitions, and fins, for conduction of heat to the fins and the surrounding gases, means for connecting said jackets in series with engine cylinder jackets and radiator system of the engine, and a controllable air intake valve opening into said containing case.
