Description: Having regard to the foregoing disclosure, the Patent of which this specification forms part confers, subject to the conditions prescribed in the Patent Act, 1935, the exclusive right, privilege and liberty of making, constructing, using and vending to others to be used, the invention as defined in claims submitted by the patentee as follows:-

1. An agricultural implement comprising a hauling frame, a cultivating drag, means for connecting the drag to the frame at two spaced points on the latter and means on the frame for imparting a reciprocating rotary motion to the drag upon forward movement of the implement.

2. An agricultural implement comprising a hauling frame, a circular cultivating drag, link members of substantially equal length connecting the drag to the hauling frame at two spaced points on the latter, and means on the hauling frame for imparting a reciprocating rotary motion to the drag upon forward movement of the implement.

3. An implement according to claim 1, in which the drag has at least one side of its lower edge sharpened.

4. An implement according to claim 3, in which the drag is disposed with its sharpened edge forward so that in weeding operation the weeds will be uprooted and left lying on the top of the earth.

5. An implement according to claim 3, in which the drag is disposed with its sharpened edge at the rear, in which position during operation, it packs and smoothens disced stubble without causing bunching.

6. An agricultural implement according to claim 2, in which the drag has an outer circular ring and an inner ring substantially identical with the outer circular ring but of smaller diameter.

7. An implement according to claim 2, wherein the drag comprises an outer circular ring in which means are provided for the insertion of an inner ring to be substantially identical with the outer circular ring but of smaller diameter, said means comprising at least two bars disposed as chords to the circular ring, chains, and means for securing said chains to said bars.
