1. In a fastener for the ends of conveyor canvasses, a pair of holding rods arranged to hold the ends of the canvas therebetween and to be rotated to enclose the holding rods within the canvasses, a locking rod fastened rigidly through the canvasses to the enclosed holding rods.

2. The fastener as claimed in claim 1 wherein the locking rod is parallel with and in the same plane as the holding rods.
