1 Claim

An overthrow loader for attachment to a tractor comprising in combination a mounting plate component secured to each side of said tractor, a substantially U-shaped main beam pivotally secured by the ends thereof to adjacent the rear ends of said mounting plate component, said U-shaped main beam including side members and a cross bar spanning same at the upper ends thereof, an hydraulic ram unit on each side of said tractor, said units being pivotally secured by one end thereto to adjacent the forward ends of said mounting plate components and by the other ends thereof to said main beam, and a bucket loader detachably mounted on said cross-bar member of said U-shaped main beam, said side members of said main beam, when viewed in side elevation being triangular with the apex adjacent the rear ends of said side members, each of said side members includes a pair of parallel spaced plates, said hydraulic ram units being secured to said side members adjacent said apices, and between said pair of plates, said mounting plate component including a substantially horizontal main portion, a pivot pin extending outwardly from adjacent the rear ends of said portion, and a U-shaped hanger being secured adjacent the forward end of said horizontal portion, said U-shaped hanger portion including a mounting bushing on the distal end thereof, said ram unit being pivotally secured to said bushing.
