A clothes line formed of a flat strip of material having a series of ridges extending lengthwise of the strip and including pulleys providing flat working faces on which the strip is carried, and means for mounting the pulleys on supporting posts with the strip adapted for travel horizontally and with the ridged faces thereof vertically disposed.
