4 Claims.

1. A window washing apparatus comprising rectangular frame of pipes, said frame consisting of two vertical side members and two horizontal end members, a hollow cylindrical substantially vertical pipe member slidably mounted on said end members, a slot extending substantially full length of said pipe member, a slider consisting of a cylindrical rod of slightly smaller diameter than the inside diameter of said pipe member with a plate welded by one edge along the rod in an axial direction, said cylindrical rod section of said slider slidably mounted in said pipe member, a washer unit consisting of a squeegee, brush and spray bar pivotally mounted on said plate, first means consisting of sheaves and cables for vertical movement of the washer unit and second means consisting of sheaves and cables for horizontal movement of said pipe member.

2. A window washing apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein said washer unit is resiliently urged toward the window.

3. A window washing apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein said rectangular frame of pipes is adjustable.

4. A window washing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein said rectangular frame of pipes is collapsible.
