Inventor: Babinszki, Imre S.

Location: Calgary

Comments: N/A

Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
(1) A control unit operable by the variable volume of fluid passing therethrough, comprising in combination a cylinder, a piston reciprocal therein, a head for said cylinder, a fluid passageway extending through said head, one end of said passageway being connected to the source of fluid supply, the other end of said passageway being connected to a fluid outlet, a communication between said passageway and said cylinder on one side of said piston, a further communication between said passageway and the other side of said piston, a restricter in said passageway between said communications, and a piston rod actuated by said piston.
(2) A control unit operable by the variable volume of fluid passing therethrough, comprising in combination a cylinder, a piston reciprocal therein, a head for said cylinder, a fluid passageway extending through said head, one end of said passageway being connected to a source of fluid supply, the other end of said passageway being connected to a fluid outlet, a communicating drilling between one end of said passageway and said cylinder upon one side of said piston, a longitudinal fluid passageway formed on the wall of said cylinder, a communication between the opposite end of said first-mentioned passageway and said last-mentioned passageway, a further communication between said last-mentioned passageway and the opposite side of said piston, a restrictor in said first mentioned fluid passageway between said communicating drilling and the communication from said first: mentioned fluid passageway and said longitudinal fluid passageway and a piston rod actuated by said piston.
(3) The device according to Claims 1 or 2 in which said fluid outlet is connected to a water heating device, and said piston rod is connected to a control for controlling the source of heat to said water heater.
