Description: THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION IN WHICH AN EXLCUSIVE PROPERTY
OR PRIVILEGE IS CLAIMED ARE DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:

1. A fitting for securing to a floor surface a load carrier having at least one outwardly projecting flange for supporting said carrier on said floor surface comprising a first locking block receivable in a cut-out in said flange, a second locking block positionable adjacent said floor surface, said first locking block having at least one shoulder for overlying said flange adjacent said cut-out, said first and second blocks being provided with mutually; engageable interlocking means, a pressure plate mountable on said first locking block and flange securing means coactable with said pressure plate and said locking blocks to immovably secure said flange to said floor surface.

2. A fitting according to claim 1 wherein said floor surface includes a depression therein and said second locking block is receivable in said depression.

3. A fitting according to claim 2 wherein said interlocking means includes a plurality of serrations on each of said locking blocks whereby the serrations of said first locking block are meshable with the serrations of said second locking block.

A fitting according to claim 3 wherein said flange securing means includes at least one bolt receivable in a threaded hole in said depression, said first locking block having a slot therethrough and said pressure plate and second locking block each having at least one hole therethrough for receiving said bolt.

A fitting for securing a flanged load carrier to a floor surface wherein said floor surface includes a depression, said fitting comprising a first locking block receivable in a cut-out in said flange adjacent said floor surface and having a slot therein, said first locking block also having a pair of shoulders for overlying portions of said flange adjacent thereto, a second locking block receivable in said depression, each of said blocks having a plurality of mutually meshable serrations, a pressure plate mountable on said first locking block and a plurality of bolts extendable through said pressure plate, said first locking block and said second locking block for engagement with corresponding threaded holes in said floor surface, said bolts, upon tightening thereby securing said flanged load carrier immovably to said floor surface.
