[57] A system for continuously monitoring SO2 emission from a stack is provided, A pilot tube and thermocouple measure stack flow rate and temperature. A sample stream from the stack is fed into an SO2 analyzer. This equipment is all mounted on the stack at a pro-determined level in an enclosed shelter. The measurements are converted to electrical signals which are fed to a ground-located computer for processing to produce a continuous record of emission.
