Claim.—1. The combination with a stereopticon, a base, a pair of vertical posts on the base, collars slidably mounted on the base having locking means, a frame connected to the collars, a bearing in the frame, an axle in the bearing, a wheel on the axle, a clock mechanism, a train of gears connected to the clock mechanism, a gear wheel connected to the wheel and meshing with the train of gears, a plurality of plates on the periphery of the wheel forming a web in the plane thereof constituting a series of frames having openings therein adapted to receive and support the usual class lantern slides, a clock mechanism having a disc carrying a pin, a pivoted lever, a pitman connecting the pin to the pivotal lever, and a supporting frame for the lever, an arm on the lever provided with a hooked end forming a detent, a plurality of pins on the side of the rim of the wheel adapted to be successively engaged by the end of the detent, a second series of lateral pins on the rim and a spring actuated pawl engaged with said second series of pins.

2. The combination with a stereoptican, of a slide carrying wheel having two series of peripherally arranged pins, a clock mechanism, a detent mechanism provided on the clock mechanism adapted to engage the pin of one series, a spring pawl adapted to engage the pins of the other series, means for rotating the wheel, all as hereinafter set forth and described.

3. The arrangement according to claim 1, in which spring clamps are provided to retain the slides in the frame.
