Description: Ferdinand Henschell, and Albert Herbert Dixon, assignee of a half interest, both of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 13th May, 1913; 6 years. Filed 9th December, 1912. Receipt No. 217,805.

Claim— 1. A mop holder comprising a handle, a bracket secured to one end of said handle and projecting at right angles thereto, a bearing at the free end of said bracket. braces fastened to said bracket and extending outwardly from the opposite sides thereof, a bearing at the free end of each brace, a sleeve slidably disposed on said handle, a mop frame including a pair of arms secured to said sleeve and slidably disposed within the bearings on said braces, a wringer journalled in the first-mentioned bearing and co-operating with said mop frame to hold a mop, and means for rotating said wringer relatively to the mop frame whereby a mop cloth may be wrung.

2. A mop holder comprising a handle, a bracket secured to one end of said handle and projecting at right angles thereto, a bearing at the free end of said bracket, braces fastened to said bracket and extending outwardly from the opposite sides thereof, a bearing at the free end of each brace, a sleeve slidably disposed on said handle, a mop frame composed of a length of wire bent to form a loop and extended to provide a pair of arms spaced apart in parallelism, connections between the free ends of said arms and sleeved, said army being slidably disposed within the last-mentioned bearings, a wringer journalled in the first-mentioned bearing and co-operating with said mop frame to hold a mop cloth, a crank handle connected to said wringer for rotating the same relatively to the mop frame whereby the mop may be wrung, and sleeves connecting said wringer and crank handle, one of said sleeves forming a thrust bearing for the wringer.

3. A mop holder comprising a handle, a bracket secured to one end of said handle, braces fastened to said bracket and extending outwardly from the opposite sides thereof, bearings at the free ends of said braces, a mop frame including a pair of arms slidably disposed within 6aid bearing and provided with bowed portions whereby said frame may be locked against movement in one direction, and means carried by said handle and connected to said arm for eliding the latter.

4. A mop holder comprising a handle, a bracket secured to one end of said handle, braces fastened to said bracket and extending outwardly from the opposite sides thereof. bearings at the free ends of said braces, a mop cloth frame including a pair of arms spaced apart in parallelism and slidably disposed within said bearings, a sleeve slidably mounted upon said handle, connections between said arms and sleeve and a manipulating handle formed by one of said arms.
