In a captive passenger carrying powered airplane having a pylon with an arm fixed rotatably intermediate its ends to the pylon and an adjusting counterweight at one end of the arm, a passenger carrying aircraft mounted universally at the opposite end of the arm, a lifting propeller aircraft, a motor within the aircraft for operating the lifting propeller, and passenger operated controls within the aircraft readable between the aircraft and the arm for moving the aircraft throughout a plurality of positions with relation to the said arm.

3. In a captive passenger carrying powered aircraft having a pylon with an arm fixed rotatably intermediate its ends to the pylon and an adjustable counterweight at one end of the arm, a passenger carrying aircraft mounted universally at the opposite end of the arm, a lifting propeller on the aircraft, a motor within the aircraft for operating the lifting propeller, a vertically operating propeller at the rear of the aircraft and a motor within the aircraft for operating the vertical propeller, both the lifting propeller and the vertically operating propeller being adjustable and controllable by passengers in the aircraft and passenger operated controls within the aircraft readable between the aircraft and the arm for moving the aircraft throughout a plurality of positions with relation to the said arm.

4. In a captive passenger carrying powered aircraft having a pylon with an arm fixed rotatably intermediate its ends to the pylon and an adjustable counterweight at one end of the arm, a support fixed at the opposite end of the arm, a passenger carrying powered aircraft mounted universally on the upper end of the said vertical support, a lifting propeller on the aircraft, a motor within the aircraft for operating the lifting propeller and passenger operated controls within the aircraft reactable between the aircraft and the universal mounting of the aircraft on the vertical support for moving the aircraft throughout a plurality of positions with relation to the vertical support.
