Claim.—A grease gun filler comprising a cylindrical container closed at one end and open at the other, said container having an outlet on one side adjacent the closed end thereof, said outlet being threaded for reception of a gun to be filled, a cover for the open end of the container, said container providing a marginal flange on the rim thereof, means detachably securing the cover on said flange, a boss on the cover threaded rod mounted to turn in the boss and disposed axially of the container, a pressure plate in the container threaded on the rod to be longitudinally movable thereon by rotation of the rod, said plate including an integral annular packing seat formed on the rim, a packing in the seat, and means by which the rod may be rotated to effect movement of the pressure plate.
