Hugh J. McIntyre, Reist, Alberta, Canada, 13th April, 1915; 6 years. Filed 8th February, 1915. Receipt No. 247,804.

Claim.—1. In sights as described, said sights being attached to the upper side of the barrel of the rifle, said sights being provided with electric lights on their rear side, said electric lights being provided with reflectors, a tube running between said electric lights and carrying wires to connect same with a battery, said battery being suitably attached to said rifle, one of said wires being cut and having a switch connection by having one end secured to a band which goes around barrel of said gun.

2. In sights as used with a gun, said sights being mounted on the upper side of the barrel of said gun, said sights being provided with electric lights at their rear sides, said electric lights having reflectors so arranged as to reflect all rays from said electric lights to certain portions on said sights, means for connecting said electric lights to a battery, said battery suitably attached to said gun and said connecting means being provided with switching means.

3. In a firearm being provided with sights, said sights being mounted on the upper side of the barrel of said gun, said sights having electric lights at their rear side, said lights being so placed as to reflect on certain parts of said sights, said electric lights being connected by wires to a storage battery, said wires having a switching means.
