[57] A device for repairing a highway marker post which has a lower portion embedded in the ground and an upper portion broken away from the lower portion, the device having a lower adapter driver over the lower post portion and an upper adapter receiving the broken-off upper post portion. The two adapters have co-acting socket members which are slidably telescoped together, and releasable locking means are provided to retain the telescoped socket members in assembled relation so that if by impact they become separated, expeditious re-assembly is possible.
