Claim.—A carpet roller consisting of a cylindrical roller member having a detachable longitudinal section, means for holding said section on said member, ratchet wheels secured to the ends of said member, levers having studs at their lower ends, openings in said ratchet wheels to receive said studs and said levers carrying double tooth dogs adapted to engage with said ratchet wheel.
