Description: Sylvester Henry Burroughs, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 20lh June, 1922. Filed 27th July, 1921. Receipt No. 353,476.

Claim.—1. A combination can opener comprising a shank, having an offset pointed end, a shank being provided with a plurality of orifices, a collar slidably mounted on the shank, a resilient member on the collar, a pin on the outer end of the resilient member engaging one of the orifices, and a straight downwardly extending knife on the collar.

4. A combination can opener comprising a shank having an offset pointed end, the shank being provided with a plurality of orifices, a collar slidably mounted on the shank, a resilient member on the collar, a pin on the outer end of the resilient member, engaging one of the orifices, a knife on the collar, and a hook member fastened to the shank intermediate of the length thereof, as and for the purpose specified.

5. The combination can opener comprising a shank having an offset pointed end, a shank being provided with a plurality of orifices, a collar slidably mounted on the shank, a resilient member on the collar, a pin on the outer end of the resilient member engaging one of the orifices, a knife on the collar, a pin extending through the shank intermediate of the length thereof, a looped member pivot-ally carried by the pin, a cork screw stem also pivotally carried by the pin, for the purpose described.
