Description: Claim
1. A machine for washing currants and the ??? ??????? in combination a water trough ???? cylinder mounted to rotate therein and means to rotate same, said cylinder being provided on its circumference with narrow perforations forming slots extending longitudinally of the cylinder and in staggered relation one with the other, and having on an end thereof narrow perforations forming slots extending radially towards the axis of the cylinder.
2. A machine for washing currants and the like, comprising in combination a water trough, bearings in the ends thereof, a perforated cylinder mounted to rotate therein, plates secured to the ends of said cylinder, an axle rod secured to each of said plates and rotatable in said bearings and means to rotate same and thereby said cylinder, said cylinder being provided on its circumference with narrow perforations forming slots extending longitudinally of the cylinder and in staggered relation one with the other, and having on each end thereof narrow perforations forming slots extending radially towards the axis of the cylinder, substantially as described.
