Claim—1. In a churn the combination with the tub, and a drive gear mounted therein, of a pinion in mesh with said drive gear, a stub shaft for said pinion held in said tub, and provided with a head positioned within said tub, t dither spindle one end of which is provided with a recess shaped to receive said head, a thumb screw held in said tub and on which has bearing one end of said dasher spindle, and dasher paddles carried by said dasher spindle.

2. In a churn the combination with the tub, and a drive gear mounted therein, of a pinion in mesh with said drive gear ,a stub shaft for said tub, and provided with a head positioned within said tub, a dasher spindle, a thumb screw in said tub and in alignment with said stub shaft, I recessed metallic cap carried by each end of said dasher spindle, the said head being held in one of said metallic caps, and said thumb screw held in the other, and dasher paddles carried by said dasher spindle.

3. As a new article of manufacture, a dasher spindle provided with two arms projecting at an angle thereto, and to each other, and dasher paddles carried by each end of said arms, each being placed at an angle to said dasher spindle mad to, each other.

4. As a new article of manufacture, a dasher spindle provided with two arms projecting at an angle thereto and to each other, and dasher paddles provided with a plurality of holes carried by each end of said arms, each being placed at an angle to said dasher spindle and to each other.
