Claim.—1. A tin opener comprising a handle having a vertical slit therein, a blade of substantially triangular shape with the apex of the triangle at the bottom inserted into said slit, means for securing the blade to the handle, the opposite sides of the blade being beveled to form opposed cutting edges.

2. A tin opener comprising a handle having a vertical slit therein, said handle having laterally protruding finger grips, a blade of substantially triangular shape with the apex of the triangle at the bottom inserted into said slit, means for securing the blade to the handle, the opposite sides of the blade being beveled to form opposed cutting edges.
