Claim.—1. The combination with a fork, of a knife blade adapted to extend outwardly from the body of the fork.

6. The combination with a fork, of a knife blade comprising a plate having an arc-shaped cutting edge, an arm extending upwardly from the back of the plate having a notch in its rear edge, means for hingedly connecting the upper end of the arm within the handle of the fork, and a sleeve slidable upon the handle of the fork and adapted to engage the notch of the knife blade at its forward edge.

7. The combination with a fork, of a knife blade comprising a plate having an arc-shaped cutting edge, an arm extending upwardly from the hack of the plate having a notch in its rear edge for hingedly connecting the upper end of the arm within the handle of the fork, a sleeve slidable upon the handle of the fork and adapted to engage the notch of the knife blade at its forward edge, and a knife spring bearing upon the upper end of the arm of the knife blade.
