Description: Claims:-

1. In a safety locking device for electric globes, a globe having a spring actuated pawl pivoted on the top of same, a receptacle to receive said globe having a pocket in the side wall thereof to be engaged by said pawl, and a flexible connector to disengage the said pawl from said pocket when the globe is broken to remove the same.

2. In a safety locking device for electric globes, a· globe having a spring actuated pawl pivoted on the top of same, a receptacle to receive said globe having a pocket in the side wall thereof to be engaged by said pawl, a skirt around the neck of the globe, a flexible connector attached to said pawl passing through an orifice in the said globe top and between said skirt and globe neck whereby the said pawl may be withdrawn from engagement with the said pocket.

3. In a safety locking device for electric globes, a globe having a spring actuated pawl pivoted on the top thereof, a receptacle to be used in conjunction therewith having apertured means receiving said pawl, a metal contact screw member on said globe top, a skirt attached thereto depending part way down the neck of the said globe, a flexible connector attached to said pawl passing between said skirt and the globe neck and means holding said locking means in-operative until released.
