Claim.—A lamp extinguisher and wick cleaner, in combination with a lamp chimney and wick holder, consisting of a U-shaped member inverted, one side of top part on said U-shaped member forming a cutting blade, a plate member secured to upper end of said U-shaped member, and extending out past and over said cutting blade, said U-shaped member being mounted on a turning axle, a means for holding said U-shaped member over a wick in said wick holder.
