Claim.—1. In a pump pipe lift, the combination with a pipe, of a convexed member having a serrated concaved interior applied to one side of the pipe, a lever member having a serrated concaved interior applied to the other side of the pipe, means for detachably securing the two members together, said members being normally slidable vertically on the pipe, and means for throwing the said members into engagement with the pipe for gripping the same upon the free end of the lever member being pulled upwardly.
2. In a pump pipe lift, the combination with a pipe, of a convexed member having a serrated concaved interior applied to one side of the pipe, a lever member having a serrated concaved interior applied to the other side of the pipe, links pivotally connected to the convexed member, laterally extending trunnions on the lever member, rings on the free ends of the links adapted to extend over the trunnions, pins extending through the trunnions for normally holding the rings thereon and means connected with the free end of the lever member for pulling the same in a forward direction.
