Description:


The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property and privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

Claim 1. A syringe and needle assembly comprising a barrel formed to internally support an ampoule, plunger means in said barrel, nozzle means in one end of the barrel, the said nozzle means consisting of a partition across the inside of said barrel, a centrally extending nozzle integrally connected to said partition, an extension on the end of said barrel spaced from the said nozzle means, an inclined projection on the inside of said extension, a needle assembly consisting of a double pointed needle mounted on a hub, said hub consisting of a finger gripping portion having an extension on its outer end through which the double pointed needle passes and is fixed in desired position, a cylindrical extension on the inner end of said finger gripping portion, a flange extending outwardly from the said inner end cylindrical extension for contacting the inclined projection on the said barrel extension for locking the needle assembly to the barrel, the said finger gripping portion and the said inner end cylindrical extension having a hollow interior of predetermined size to enclose the said needle on said barrel when said hub of said double pointed needle and said syringe are placed in locking position.

Claim 2. A syringe and needle assembly as defined in Claim 1 in which said flange on said inner end cylindrical extension of said finger gripping portion extends outwardly at right angles and rectangularly to said inner end cylindrical extension.
