Claim.—1. In a Hawaiian Guitar, a continuous sound box extending from the base of the head piece to the other extremity.

2. An improvement in Hawaiian Guitars or the like comprising a sound box formed with an extension adapted to extend substantially to the extremity of the head of the instrument and to support the finger board thereof.
