Claim.—1. A box of the character described comprising a box, a cover, a removable rack in the box comprising a plurality of parallel partitions, longitudinally extending bars extending along the upper and lower edges of the partition and substantially at right angles thereto and being inserted therein, means for retaining the upper bars in position, and means for retaining the crate or rack in position in the box.

2. A device as claimed in claim 1 in which retaining bars are provided on the ends of the box adapted to engage the projecting ends of the rack, and retaining strips to retain the upper bars in position in the crate.

4. The device as claimed in claim 1, in which a latch device is provided for retaining the cover in closed position, the said latch device comprising a pivoted latch lever spring held in engaged position, a lock and plate designed to engage with the latch lever having a perforated projection, the latch lever being formed with a perforation designed to receive the wire of a sealing chamber passed through the perforation of the lever and in the projection.
