WHAT I CLAIM AS MY INVENTION IS.

1. In an oil can, the combination with the can body, of an oil feed tube comprising separable upper and lower portions, the lower portion extending down into the can body, a removable upwardly opening valve interposed between the two portions, a separable spout portion, a removable upwardly opening valve interposed between the spout portion and the upper feed tube portion, a plunger tube communicating with the upper feed tube portion and a plunger reciprocable in the plunger tube.

2. In an oil can, the combination with the can body, of an oil feed tube comprising separable upper and lower portions, the lower portion extending down into the can body, a depending cup shaped valve seat, a ball valve therein, means for removably supporting the valve seat between the two portions, a separable spout portion, a depending cup shaped valve seat, a ball valve therein, means for removably supporting the valve seat between the spout portion and the upper feed tube portion, a plunger tube communicating with the upper feed tube portion and a plunger reciprocable in the plunger tube.

3. In an oil can, the combination with the can body, of an oil feed tube comprising separable upper and lower feed portions, the lower portion extending down into the can body, a depending cup shaped valve seat having an outwardly extending flange, a ball valve in the valve seat, means for removably securing the flange on the valve seat, between the two portions, a separable spout portion, a depending cup shaped valve seat having an outwardly extending flange, a ball valve in the valve seat, means for removably securing the flange between the spout portion and the upper feed tube portion, a plunger tube communicating with the upper feed tube portion and a plunger reciprocable in the plunger tube.

4. In an oil can, the combination with a can body, of an oil feed tube comprising separable upper and lower feed portions, the lower portion extending down into the can body and its upper end having an outwardly extending flange, an externally threaded ring secured to the top of the can supporting the lower feed tube portion having a rebated internal surface, said flange on the lower feed tube portion resting on said rebated surface, a depending cup shaped valve seat having an outwardly extending flange resting on the flange of the lower feed tube portion, and the valve seat depending thereinto, a ball valve in the valve seat, the upper feed tube portion having an outwardly flanged lower end resting on the flange of the valve seat, an internally threaded union collar extending down over the flange on the lower end of the upper feed tube portion and screwed onto the externally threaded ring secured to the can body the upper end of said upper feed tube portion being externally threaded, a second depending cup shaped valve seat inserted into the top of the upper feed tube portion and having an outwardly extending flange resting on the top of the same, a ball valve in the valve seat, a spout portion having an outwardly flanged lower end resting on the flange of the second valve seat portion, an internally threaded union collar extending down over the flange ~n the spout portion and screwed down onto the externally threaded upper end of the upper feed tube portion, a plunger tuba communicating with the upper feed tube portion, and a plunger reciprocable in the plunger tube.
