Claim.—1. In a monorail car. longitudinally divided portions, main wheels, a suitable frame upon which the main wheels are journalled and means for pivotally connecting the car portions to the frame.

2. In a monorail car, longitudinally divided portions main wheels, longitudinal bars between the car portions having the main wheels journalled thereto, and crossbars connected to the ends of the longitudinal bars and pivotally connected to the car portions.

3. In a monorail car, longitudinally divided portions, main wheels, longitudinally bars, between the car portions having the main wheels journalled thereto, crossbars connected to the ends of the longitudinal bars and pivotally connected to the car portions, and guide wheels journalled to the divided portions and bearing against the base and underneath surface of the head depending upon the swinging of the car.

4. A monorail car comprising longitudinally divided portions, main wheels, longitudinal bars between the portions having the main wheels journalled thereto adapted to run on a suitable I-rail, crossbars connected to the longitudinal bars and pivotally connected to the car portions, guide wheels journalled to the divided portions and bearing against the base and underneath surface of the head of the rail depending on the swinging of the car, rollers journalled to the inner faces of the car portions and vertical tracks against which the rollers run connected to the longitudinal bars.
