Description: Damase Exavier Charlebois, Carbon, Alberta, Canada, 3rd March, 1925. Filed 11th August, 1924. Serial No. 294,318.

Claim.—A gate of the class described, comprising spaced uprights, spaced cross members connecting the uprights, a beam pivoted to the cross members, a counterweight on one end of the beam, a tubular guide connected -to the beam, rollers mounted on the guide, a barrier member supported from the rollers, a rhomboidal frame on one pair of uprights, guide pulleys on the frame, pulley ropes passing around the pulleys and connected to the beam, balance weights on the ropes and a latching means for the gate.
