Claim.—In a gate, a device for opening and shutting gates by the means of lilting posts or gate frames, worked by cables, levers and gears, which can be opened or shut from either side with the least possible effort by persons on foot, on horseback, or from the inside of any vehicle, substantially as shown and described.
