Description:
CLAIMS:-

1. A gate of the type described comprising an anchor post, a sheath at each end of the anchor post, a ball or roller bearing unit mounted on each sheath, a base to receive the lower ball or roller bearing unit and a bracket to receive the upper ball or roller bearing unit to the end that the anchor post is held in a pivotal but otherwise non-displaceable position.

2. A gate of the class described comprising a cement base, uprights secured to the base and cross arms joining the upper extremity of the uprights,
a base casting secured in the cement, a bracket secured to one of the cross arms, each having ball or roller bearing race receiving recesses therein, an anchor post having a notch sheath at each extremity, a boss extending from each sheath, a ball or roller bearing carried on each boss and confined in the aforementioned recesses of the base casting and the bracket.
