Amending Claim.

Having regard to the foregoing disclosure, the patent of which this specification forms part confers, subject to the conditions prescribed in The Patent Act, 1935, the exclusive right, privilege and liberty of making, constructing, using and vending to others to be used, the invention as defined in claim submitted by the patentee as follows:

In an audio amplifier having at least two cascaded amplifier stages, the output oŁ said amplifier being a pair of terminals, a resistor and a tungsten filament lamp for producing a feedback voltage across said terminals, said feedback voltage of correct amplitude being applied in inverse relationship around said cascaded stages, means associated with said feedback voltage to increase the amplitude thereof in respect to voltage across said output terminals in response to increased audio signal level, and means to manually control current through said tungsten filament lamp, said first means comprising the tungsten filament, said second means consisting of a resistor switched in parallel with said tungsten filament.
