Description: Alfred T. Drew, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 21st August, 1928. Filed 17th February, 1928. Serial No. 334,018.

Claim.—1. A golf bag comprising a longitudinal club carrying bag a bottom plate fixed in the lower end of the bag, and a diametrically adjustable supporting mechanism operatively associated with said bottom plate.

2. A golf bag comprising a cylindrical club carrying bag open at the upper end, a bottom plate fixed in the lower end of the bag, a plurality of radially adjustable arms operatively positioned below the bottom plate, and means for selectively operating the said arms for contraction within the peripheral compass of the bottom plate or extension to assume a diametrically increased support base.

3. A golf bag comprising, in combination, a club carrying bag having a bottom plate fixed therein, radially adjustable supporting members positioned below the bottom plate and means for selectively adjusting the said supporting members in contracted position within the periphery of the bottom plate or horizontal radially extended position to provide a diametrically increased support base.
