Claim.—1. A snow ski of conventional length, the blade of which is formed with an uninterrupted gliding face longitudinally of which is a continuous guiding groove extending substantially throughout the effective length of the gliding face, characterized by that the groove is of gradually increasing cross-sectional area in a rearward direction lengthwise of the ski substantially along the entire length of the groove.
2. In a ski as set forth in claim 1, the groove increasing in width.
3. In a ski as set forth in claim 1, the groove increasing in depth.
4. In a ski as set forth in claim 1, the groove increasing in width and in depth.
