Claim.—l. In a skate, the combination with the sole and heel plates of vertical supports, each having a series of perforations running vertically, a series of blades with series of perforations through said blades, bolts to attach said blades to said supports.

2. In a skate, the combination with the sole and heel plates of vertical supports set in pairs, a blade bolted to said supports, one of each pair of said supports being on each side of said blade, a vertical series of perforations through said supports, a horizontal series of perforations through said blade.

3. In a skate, the combination with the sole and heel plates of vertical supports set in pairs of said supports, a blade attached to said supports by a bolt and nut, a vertical series of perforations through said supports, two horizontal series of perforations through said blade.
