Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

1. A ball toy comprising a flexible rubber sphere; a rigid shaft extending through said sphere; a sleeve disposed between said sphere and said shaft and secured to said sphere to permit rotation of the sphere relative to said shaft; and a handle on each end of said shaft beyond the outer surfaces of said sphere.

2. A toy according to Claim 1, including means for preventing longitudinal withdrawal of said shaft from said sleeve.

3. A toy according to Claim 1, wherein said handles are formed to have a larger transverse dimension than said sleeve to prevent longitudinal withdrawal of said shaft from said sleeve.

4. A toy according to Claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein said sphere is made of solid rubber.
