Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
1. In a releasable fishing hook, a hollow body member, a plurality of hooks mounted pivotally at one and of the body member and movable from a closed releasing position to an open engaging position, an actuating plunger operable slidably in the body member and projecting therefrom, a plurality of actuating
rods connecting the actuating plunger with the said plurality of hooks whereby manual pressure on the said plunger will move the plurality of hooks about the pivotal mounting from the open engaging position to a closed releasing position and spring means within the body member co-acting with the said plunger
to maintain the said hooks normally in the open engaging position.
2. The releasable fishing hook as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the said plurality of hooks are mounted pivotally on a common axis.
