What we do claim as our invention is:-

A device for vulcanizing rubber articles comprising in combination a frame including a pair of jaws, one being expanded to form a plate and the other having a threaded aperture, a thumb screw operating in said aperture, a hot plate secured to the end of said screw between said jaws and enclosing an electric heating element and terminal connecting wires attached to said element.
