Description: The embodiment of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

1. A folded postcard comprising a base member creased laterally to form two substantially equal oblong base portions; a central tab portion on one of the said base portions, such tab portion adapted to be releasably engaged upon the other of the said base portions when the said base portions are in folded relationship; a lining member mortised as to its centre portions to leave a pair of substantially oblong end portions connected by a centre strip; slits in the inner edges of the said end portions aligned with the edges of the said centre strip; the said end portions each suitably mounted to one of the said base portions so that the said centre strip will assume a normal erect position with respect to the flat unfolded plane of the postcard.

2. A folded postcard substantially as claimed 20 in Claim I wherein the said lining member is a folded continuation of the base member.

3. The method of constructing a folded postcard from a rectangular- sheet which consists of transversley creasing the same to form six rectangular panels, removing sufficient material from the first of such panels to leave a tab portion; the cutting of a slit in the third of such panels; the removal of sufficient material from the fifth of such panels so as to leave the fourth and sixth of such panels jointed by a connecting portion; the folding of the sixth panel onto the second panel and the folding of the fourth panel onto the third panel so that the said connecting portion will fold transversely and assume a normal erect position with respect to the flat open plane of the postcard; the bonding of the said sixth panel to the said second panel and the bonding of the said fourth panel onto the said third panel.
