Claim.—The combination with a shaft equipped at one end with a gear, a ball bearing frame surrounding the shaft remote from said gear and a roller bearing frame surrounding said shaft and arranged thereon with one end slightly spaced from the gear and the other end abutting the ball bearing frame, of a thrust bearing, interposed between the gear and the adjacent end of the roller bearing frame in direct contact with each.
