Boone Creek

Officially named in 1948 this creek, earlier known as Fish Creek, was named after Boone Taylor a hunter and trapper in the Peace River Country from before World War I into the 1940s. Although his home was Swan Lake on the British Columbia side, he was well known and respected throughout the Peace district. He acted as guide to many prospective homesteaders before the arrival of the railway to the area.

Flows north-west into Pouce Coupe River approximately 66 km west of Spirit River.
