Canyon Creek

In the 1920s, the feature was known as Field Canyon Creek after Mr. Field, an employee of a lumber company operating on the steep-banked stream. This was to differentiate it from other Canyon Creeks in the area. The name Canyon Creek was officially adopted in 1967 to coincide with the nearby hamlet.

Flows north into Lesser Slave Lake approximately 22 km west north-west of Slave Lake.
