Josephine Creek

Although pure speculation, this creek may have been named after Josephine Hamelin. According to the Métis Land Scrip files and records of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, there was a woman named Josephine Hamelin in Alberta in the late 19th century.

Flows east into Hamelin Creek approximately 25 km north north-west of Spirit River.
