Funell Lake

This lake was officially named in the early 1950s, and although the spelling is siightiy different, it may be named after the Funnell family who settled in the vicinity in June 1912. The family came from England, and one of the sons homesteaded in the Nokomis area of Saskatchewan before persuading the rest of his family to move with him to the Beaverlodge area.

Approximately 15 km south-west of Beaverlodge.
