Canadian Life

We are an organization of Italians (by birth, ancestry or marriage).  Our organization was founded in 1979

  • to foster retention of Italian cultural heritage
  • to operate a Cultural Centre in order to provide its members and other community organizations with facilities for carrying out their activities
  • to offer space for the Head Office and library of the Dante Alighieri Society, for the Bocce Courts and for other sport and recreational societies
  • to initiate and undertake activities which bring closer ties between the Italian community and the Canadian community at large
  • to rent its facilities (with catering) in order to finance the Centre's operation.

Our activities

  • Annual dinner for Italian Seniors
  • Monthly dinner-dance for members
  • Annual banquet for members and their friends
  • Various activities aimed at getting youths involved in the community and in Canadian public affairs.
