The 3rd Wednesday of each month the UMA conversation lunches are held at 11:45 at Campus Y. These lunches feature an invited guest from campus facilitating a conversation on the day’s topic. A small snack shop is available, but everyone is welcome to Brown Bag.
The UMA Program Committee organizes regular meetings that offer a time to network with your colleagues and to hear a presentation that is designed for managers.

May 22 The final presentation of the 2006-07 University Managers Association leadership seminar series titled: A CONVERSATION ABOUT LEADERSHIP featuring WILLIAM FRIDAY Interview conducted by HODDING CARTER, III.
William Friday - influential member of the UNC community since 1948. In 1956 Friday was named President of UNC and served in this position for thirty years until his retirement in 1986. He has served in leadership roles on a number of national committees, boards, and commissions, and has been honored with many awards for his service. In 1986, a study by the Council of Advancement and Support of Education rated Friday the most effective public university president in the nation.
