Winners in the fight against racism

From left, students Shreya Moodley (medicine), Hari Ramachandran (microbiology) and Janani Gopal (psychology) display the anti-racism poster they used in the Arts Tunnel last month as part of International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination activities on campus. For its involvement the team won $500 for charity, which Moodley says will go to the local White Buffalo Youth Lodge and the international Nelson Mandela Childrenís Fund. The prize was supported by the Presidentís Office, the Dean of Medicineís Office and Discrimination & Harassment Prevention Services.
