Raffle ticket for the Chinese Jubilee Trust Fund.

The Chinese Canadian community in Vancouver participated in Vancouver's Golden Jubilee in 1936 by showcasing Chinese arts and culture to the community at large, including the erection of a bamboo arch in Chinatown, shown in the background of the ticket.

While Chinese Canadians faced many challenges, they formed tight-knit communities in Chinatowns and supported each other through a variety of political, social and charitable organizations and activities.
